DishDroid
Whitepaper v0.2 · Robinhood Chain

Cook the mission.
Build the reputation.
Become the Master Droid Chef.

The future solved food production. It did not solve cooking. You take control of one small robot inside an automated kitchen and prove a machine can learn timing, adaptation, rhythm and judgment.

Sneak peek

Don't read about the heat. Try it.

One mechanic, pulled straight out of the Calibration Kitchen. Five ingredients, a needle that keeps accelerating, and a window that keeps shrinking.

Heat Test — Calibration Kitchen

Kitchen 01 · §7

Flip each ingredient while the needle is inside the window. The needle gets faster and the window gets tighter — exactly the way the real kitchen escalates.

Scallion

Five ingredients. Tap Flip or press Space inside the window.

§5 · Cooking is the mechanic

“DishDroid does not treat cooking as a waiting timer. The player controls when ingredients enter the pan, when heat should increase, when something should be removed.”

A beginner reacts. An experienced player anticipates — heating a station before the next ingredient arrives, preparing one part of the meal while another is already cooking. The robot becomes more efficient because the player becomes more efficient.

§18 · Failure is part of learning

An ingredient can burn. A station can be forgotten. A plate can reach the counter incomplete. DishDroid makes those failures readable and occasionally funny — the display flashes, mechanical hands move frantically, smoke covers the station, and the robot looks at the destroyed dish for a moment before trying again.

Failure gives DishDroid personality. More importantly, it teaches the player what to change on the next attempt.

§4 · Core gameplay

Every dish is a mission

Six steps, repeated until they stop feeling like steps. A successful run should eventually feel almost continuous.

  1. 01

    Read the order

Every mission begins with an incoming order. The kitchen system displays the required dish. DishDroid must understand what needs to be prepared and begin working immediately.

  2. 02

    Collect ingredients

Ingredients are collected from refrigerators, dispensers, storage units and moving conveyor systems.

  3. 03

    Prepare

Vegetables may need chopping. Meat may require seasoning. Sauces may need mixing. Dough may need processing. Ingredients may require different tools before they can enter the cooking stage.

  4. 04

    Control the heat

Food can be grilled, fried, boiled, steamed, baked or prepared through specialised futuristic equipment. Certain recipes require changing temperature several times.

  5. 05

    Assemble & plate

Components must be combined correctly. The plate must be completed. The meal must reach the serving station.

  6. 06

    Get evaluated

Then the kitchen evaluates the result. A mission may be completed with an ordinary result. A perfect kitchen run requires mastery.

Architecture

Four layers.
One kitchen.
